Service Terms

Effective date: August 17, 2026

These Service Terms apply to paid Infoseed services, including the Enquiry Website package, hosted tools, monitored enquiry workflows, automation endpoints, dashboards, client subdomains, and related managed-service support.

They sit alongside any written proposal, order form, statement of work, subscription confirmation, or checkout page that describes the specific service you are buying. If a specific written agreement says something different, that specific agreement controls to the extent of the difference.

Who We Are

Infoseed services are provided by INFOSEED CONSULTING PTY LTD.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@infoseed.com.au.

Starting a Service

A service starts when we accept your order, receive payment, or otherwise confirm the agreed scope in writing.

For services purchased through a payment link or online checkout, paying the setup fee or first invoice means you agree to:

  • the service scope shown before payment
  • the exclusions shown before payment
  • these Service Terms
  • our Privacy Policy
  • any hosted privacy, data-processing, or SLA terms that are expressly linked for the service

We may decline, cancel, or refund an order if the submitted information shows the service is not a suitable fit, the scope is materially different from the standard package, payment fails, or we reasonably cannot provide the service.

Enquiry Website Package

The standard Enquiry Website package is designed for service businesses that need a professional website and a useful enquiry path.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the public standard package is:

  • $499 setup
  • $49/month
  • core service-business sections or pages
  • a guided enquiry form
  • secure enquiry storage and new-enquiry notification
  • basic on-page SEO setup for the core website
  • first production-ready version usually within 7 business days after required content, access, and direction are received
  • managed hosting and routine maintenance while the monthly service is active

For online checkout, the setup payment may be collected before the monthly managed service begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the monthly Enquiry Website service starts when the website is launched or made active for hosting, maintenance, and enquiry capture.

The standard Enquiry Website setup price assumes an initial managed-service term of 12 months. The minimum standard-package commitment is $1,087 excluding GST, comprising the $499 setup fee and 12 monthly managed-service payments of $49 after launch or activation.

The service does not automatically renew into another fixed 12-month term. After the initial term, it continues month-to-month and either party may end the recurring service with 30 days’ written notice, subject to accrued payment obligations and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The standard Enquiry Website is a fully managed website service. It is not a source-code delivery, self-hosted website, or transferable working-site handover package.

You retain ownership of your pre-existing logo, brand assets, supplied images, supplied text, business facts, domain, and client data. Your domain must remain registered in your name or business name. Infoseed retains ownership of its platform, templates, layouts, reusable components, code, deployment configuration, workflows, operating methods, documentation, and internal tools.

The standard package does not include ecommerce, complex booking, customer portals, custom software, original copywriting, large content production, ongoing SEO campaigns, monthly posts, backlinks, or search-ranking guarantees.

Infoseed may use AI-assisted production tools to draft, structure, check, or accelerate parts of the work. A person reviews the website before launch.

Client Content and Approvals

You are responsible for providing accurate business information, content direction, brand assets, images, domain access, approvals, and any other materials reasonably needed for the service.

You confirm that you have the right to provide any text, images, logos, documents, data, or other content you ask us to use.

The 7-business-day target applies to the first production-ready version, not an unconditional final launch date. Delays in providing content, domain access, third-party approvals, or feedback may delay the service. If a project remains inactive for an extended period because we are waiting for you, we may pause the work until the required information is provided.

Fees and Billing

Fees, billing frequency, setup charges, subscription charges, and any usage or add-on charges are shown on the relevant service page, payment page, proposal, order form, or invoice.

Setup, onboarding, implementation, and configuration fees pay for work required to establish the service. Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, setup fees are not refundable once setup work has commenced.

Recurring fees are charged for each billing period until cancelled or ended in accordance with these terms or the applicable agreement.

Website Change Fees

For the standard Enquiry Website package, common content changes after launch are priced as follows unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • obvious fixes or corrections based on the original supplied content are included for 30 days after launch
  • $39 for a small existing-page update
  • $79 for a new supplied-content page or post

A launch correction means a fix to something that was incorrect, missed, or not working as intended based on the original supplied content and agreed standard scope. It does not include new pages, new scope, redesign, rewritten content, new functionality, SEO strategy, or a change in business direction.

A small existing-page update means supplied edits to wording, contact details, images, a small section, a small FAQ item, or similar low-scope content change.

A new supplied-content page or post means you provide the content direction and source material, and Infoseed formats, publishes, performs basic title/meta setup, checks internal linking where sensible, and does a basic publish check.

Redesigns, original copywriting, large rewrites, new functionality, complex layouts, urgent work, or unusual requests may be quoted separately.

Hosting and Service Access

Hosted or managed services may be provided through Infoseed-managed infrastructure, client-specific subdomains, third-party platforms, dashboards, forms, automation endpoints, or other environments selected for the agreed service.

You are responsible for controlling who on your side has authority to request changes, approve content, access accounts, or provide instructions.

Infoseed may suspend or restrict a service where reasonably necessary to protect service integrity, respond to misuse, address security issues, comply with law, prevent material harm, or deal with overdue fees.

Cancellation

If a service has an agreed initial term, giving notice during that term does not remove the initial-term fees unless a different outcome is required by law or agreed in writing. For the standard Enquiry Website, the initial term is 12 months from launch or activation.

After the initial term, the Enquiry Website continues month-to-month. Either party may end the recurring service with 30 days’ written notice. Cancellation does not remove accrued payment obligations, and fees already paid for the current billing period are not refundable merely because you choose not to use the service for the remainder of that period, to the extent permitted by law.

At the end of the applicable paid period, hosting, maintenance, monitoring, enquiry-form operation, and the client’s right to use the hosted Infoseed website stop.

Enquiry Website standard exit export

While the managed service is active or within 30 days after it ends, you may request one standard export at no additional charge.

The export includes your originally supplied logo, images, and files still held by Infoseed; a plain copy of the website’s current published text; stored enquiry records in a common tabular format where reasonably available; and the minimum domain or DNS information reasonably needed by you.

The export does not include source code, layouts, templates, design-system files, infrastructure, deployment configuration, database structure, internal tools, or third-party licences. Rebuilding the website elsewhere, migration execution, data transformation, or special export formats are separately scoped.

Infoseed keeps client data available for the standard export window, subject to security, legal, accounting, dispute, and backup obligations. After the export window, operational copies no longer required for a permitted purpose are deleted or de-identified under the applicable retention process. Protected backup copies may remain until normal backup expiry but are not available for ordinary use. We do not use your domain, supplied content, or enquiry data as leverage to prevent cancellation or migration.

Refunds and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes any refund, remedy, consumer guarantee, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.

If Infoseed cancels a paid service before setup work has commenced, we will refund the relevant setup payment.

If setup work has commenced, setup fees are generally not refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.

Third-Party Services

Infoseed services may rely on third-party infrastructure, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics tools, email providers, AI/model providers, automation tools, domain registrars, and other platforms.

We are not responsible for outages, delays, data loss, platform changes, rejected payments, or failures caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party service failures, internet disruptions, DNS or domain issues, or client-side systems.

Search, Performance, and Results

We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill.

For websites, basic on-page SEO setup may help make the site clearer for search engines, but Infoseed does not guarantee search rankings, traffic volume, enquiry volume, conversion rates, revenue, or business outcomes.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your pre-existing business content, brand assets, data, and materials.

Infoseed retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, templates, workflows, code libraries, service configurations, documentation, know-how, and internal tools unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where a service produces website content, layouts, configuration, or other deliverables for your business, your right to use those deliverables is tied to the agreed service and payment status unless another written agreement says otherwise. For the standard Enquiry Website, the managed-service and ownership boundary in the Enquiry Website sections above applies.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Infoseed services in a way that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, misleading, security-harming, or inconsistent with the agreed use case.

You must not upload, provide, or instruct us to use content that you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, harmful, malicious, deceptive, or infringes another person’s rights.

Privacy and Data Handling

How Infoseed handles personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Hosted and managed services may involve account information, usage metadata, service logs, messages, submitted documents, contact details, website enquiry content, and other client-provided or end-user-provided content.

Where Infoseed processes personal information on behalf of a client, the Hosted Data Processing Addendum may also apply.

Warranties and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infoseed excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, and loss arising from client instructions, client content, third-party platform failures, domain or DNS issues, misuse of the service, or factors outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.

Changes

Infoseed may update these Service Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
